Arthur Ellis Award Short list

Crime Writers of Canada announced the short list for the Arthur Ellis Awards today. I was totally surprised (and humbled) to discover that HUNGRY GHOSTS was up for BEST NOVEL — I honestly had no idea it was on the long list so this is completely unexpected! What a lovely surprise!

I’m absolutely thrilled to see so many of my writing pals nominated in different categories. We are blessed in Canada to have some really terrific authors, so if you are looking for a summer reading list for the cottage, you can’t go wrong here. Good luck to everyone! Here’s the complete list:
