Dutch version of The Beggar’s Opera: Schaduwzijde

Well, here it is: I just received my two copies of the Dutch translation of The Beggar’s Opera. Uniboek has done a fantastic job —  I’m dying to find out how sales are going!

Funny how different publishers in different countries have such entirely different (and great) ideas of what a book should look like, don’t you think? The cover in the US is once again, entirely different. What I love about the Dutch cover is it has a photograph of Havana on the back, so they make use of the entire cover that way. Very eye-catching!

The Dutch one is the only one I have so far, Vicki, but the German and Norwegian versions will be out later on this year. Can’t wait to see what they do with the covers, thanks!
