Edinburgh Paper Sculptures

As you may know, I’ve been following the story of these lovely, mysterious little sculptures that keep popping up in Edinburgh libraries (and that are connected to Ian Rankin’s books much of the time). They are created out of old books. Here’s an example of the kind of detail that went into one of them: a cap made of feathers, no bigger than your thumbnail and the perfect little pair of gloves to go with it.

Here’s a Pinterest board that has been created that contains photographs of all of these tiny gems. Enjoy!

Update: And for more on this story, read this blogger’s account, with even more pictures of these fantastic sculptures!
