CBC Bookies Shortlist for Best Mystery/Thriller!

Wow! The Beggar’s Opera has now been shortlisted for the CBC Bookies Award –Best Mystery/Thriller–, along with books by Alan Bradley, Andrew Pyper, Louise Penny and Ian Hamilton. What a great crew of writers to be among ( and it’s interesting that three of us were shortlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger, too — Alan won the year he was shortlisted!).

Update: Ian Hamilton and I are now neck in neck; less than 2 per cent apart. So make sure you vote for your favourite mystery by going to the CBC website and scrolling down to Mysteries.  Here’s the link! (And you can vote once per day in each category, right up to March 31st! So vote, and vote often!)
