The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

As many of you may know, particularly if you’ve read the ‘About’ portion of this blog, as well as being a lawyer and aspiring crime mystery author, I’m a sales representative with Royal LePage Team Realty in Ottawa, Canada. (This is why my tag line reads: ‘If you want it done right, ask a busy person!’)

I don’t usually use this blog to promote my ‘other’ business, but as a published author, I support the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention and education programs.

Because we believe in the importance of giving back to the community, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company to have our own charitable foundation. All of the administrative costs of the Shelter Foundation are underwritten so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to helping our cause.

Every time someone buys or sells a home in Ottawa using my services, a portion of my commission is donated to the Foundation to help  provide much-needed school supplies to children all across Canada.

If you know of someone in the Ottawa area looking to buy or sell a home, I hope you’ll keep that in mind. If you see this logo on a Royal LePage realtor’s signs or website, it means they support the Foundation too.

Help me support  children’s literacy. And let’s put abuse out of commission.
