More of those intriguing little paper sculptures have popped up in Scotland — this time in a bookstore in a Glasgow. But the sculptor of this adorable little piano is no mystery. Piero Landi is the artist behind this one although he disclaims any involvement in that wonderful little Tyrannosaurus Rex that popped out of a book shelved in an Edinburgh library.
Now I have to say this piano doesn’t look like the same artist to me as the one behind the Edinburgh paper sculptures — they were even more intricate and detailed. But still, isn’t this a wonderful marketing and promotional tool for any bookstore (or library for that matter)? Check out the full story on Piero Landi and the bookstore displaying his work at Susannah Radford’s blog. Hi Peggy, thanks for reblogging my story. The sculptures are lovely and it was great to see such community spirit in this small area of Glasgow. Best of luck with your writing!
My pleasure, Susannah – it’s a great story!
