Just ran across the Dutch version of The Beggar’s Opera which they’ve renamed Schaduwzijde (something like Shadow Side).
I would never have recognized it if my name wasn’t on it!
Interesting photograph of the little boy on the cover (it’s supposed to be the Cuban street child who is murdered). And also very interesting to discover that the Dutch publisher considers TBO to be a thriller, rather than a mystery.
